College counselors are the ideological and political educators and managers of students, playing an important role in promoting their growth. Sports culture is an important part of campus culture in colleges and universities, and counselors should play a guiding, organizing, coordinating and motivating role to implement campus sports culture and promote it to play an important educational role. However, through investigation, it is found that counselors are influenced by factors such as imperfect training policies and inappropriate management systems when they influence campus sports culture, and they cannot truly play the leading and other roles. Therefore, colleges and universities should enhance the functional level of counselors through strengthening sports training, improving management mechanisms and other ways, in order to ensure that they can truly play the guiding and organizing role.
