The integration of sports and education, as the top-level design concept of sports reserve talent cultivation models in China, is related to the realization of the goal of building a leading sports nation. By methods such as literature, theoretical analysis and logical analysis and the analytical framework of Bourdieu's field theory, this study accurately identifies and analyzes constraining factors in the process of integrating sports and education in China. It is found that the constraining factors for the integration of sports and education are mainly the ambiguous functional positioning of relevant departments, the lack of grid-based regulation at the management level, and the different interest mechanisms of subjects. The main causes of this dilemma are the differences in cognitive habits, the limitations of capital reconciliation and the looseness of the field structure.
