In the semi-final of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, the Chinese men's basketball team led by 20 points, but suffered a disastrous comeback with one point loss, causing countless basketball enthusiasts to mourn. As a doctoral student in Mongolia, the author compares the medals won by Mongolia and China in the basketball event of the Asian Games, expounds the necessity of basketball, the physical fitness of basketball players, and the strength training of basketball players through literature analysis and logical deduction methods, focuses on load intensity, the number of exercises and sets, the duration of exercises and the interval time between sets according to the different types of strength training to study the effective methods of strength training for basketball players, summarizes the similarities and differences of various training methods, and clarifies precautions, so as to provide a reference for basketball players to base themselves on scientific training.
