Under the background and practical needs of building a leading sports nation, the ideological and political education of sports teams plays an important guiding and supportive role in the solid and rapid development of competitive sports. However, in the context of the development of the times, traditional education methods face new challenges and urgently need to be optimized according to the new situation faced by sports teams and the new characteristics of athletes. There is a close connection between psychology and ideological and political education, and the way of the ideological and political education of sports teams by introducing psychological techniques such as the psychological counseling technique, the psychological training technique and the psychological assessment technique into the ideological and political education of sports teams to form an integrated psychological technique can further leverage the role of ideological and political education as a key position, so as to provide new impetus for the development of competitive sports.
