Research on the Practice of Ideological and Political Education in Physical Education Curricula Based on Core Literacy
The reform and development of school physical education in China has undergone from "double base" education to "three dimensions" education, and then to the development of core literacy in disciplines. From the compulsory education stage to the higher education stage, the unique value of physical education that educates people through sports cannot be replaced by other disciplines. Based on core literacy, physical education curricula should take the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education as its goal in China. Therefore, this paper studies the current situation and challenges of the practice of "educating people through sports" in China based on core literacy by using the literature method, logical analysis method and other methods, and draws the following conclusions. It is necessary to integrate core literacy into it and create contextualized physical education curriculum teaching to help students become high-quality talents with well-rounded development, integrate core literacy into it to enable students to develop all-round moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic grounding with hard-working spirit through "learning, practicing and competing", and integrate core literacy into it and emphasize the evaluation of students' sports processes to make them become the qualified successors and builders of socialism in the new era.
