Research on Development Strategies for High-Level College Sports Teams in China Based on the Porter's Five Forces Model
Under the background of the integration of sports and education in the new era, in order to respond positively to the policy reform, this paper applies the strategic management theory to analyze the external competitive situation of high-level college sports teams in China through the analytical tool of the Porter's five forces model, and explores the opportunities and threats brought by these five competitive forces. The study finds that the competition of high-level college sports teams is fierce internationally, the bargaining power of enterprises, government agencies, schools and various sports organization purchasers is low, the bargaining power of athletes, coaches and venue facility suppliers is high, the threat of potential entrants is low, and that the effect of substitutes is not obvious. Based on analysis results, the study proposes to form the synergistic effect of multiple subjects to realize the talent training mode of common governance, highlight the innovative leading demonstration effect to promote the implementation of talent training concept, and strengthen the talent incentive and evaluation mechanism to create a multi-dimensional management system, aiming to promote the selection and update of the development strategy of high-level university sports teams in China.
