Research on Factors Influencing Physical Exercise Behavior of Non-Sports Major Students in Regular Universities in Hebei Province
Objective: To explore the impact of fitness autonomy support, smartphone addiction and core self-evaluation on physical exercise behavior among students majoring non-physical education in colleges and universities in Hebei Province. Methods: The questionnaire survey method and statistical analysis method were used to investigate 439 college students majoring in non-physical education with the help of the fitness self-efficacy scale, the mobile phone addiction index scale, the core self-evaluation scale and the physical exercise behavior scale. Results: Fitness self-efficacy (t=4.392, P<0.05) had a significant positive impact on physical exercise behavior among students majoring in non-physical education, mobile phone addiction tendency (t=-3.568, P<0.05) had a significant negative impact on their physical exercise behavior, and core self-evaluation (t=1.472, P>0.05) did not have a significant impact on their physical exercise behavior. Conclusion: The higher the level of fitness self-efficacy among students majoring in non-physical education, the more likely they are to participate in physical exercise, and the more severe mobile phone addiction tendency among students majoring in non-physical education, the less likely they are to participate in physical exercise.
