Analysis of the Intervention Effect of Table Tennis on People with Depressive Tendencies
In order to study the intervention effects of table tennis on depressive tendencies, improve sporters' sense of self-worth, effectively alleviate negative impacts and promote this beneficial influence, this paper deeply explored table tennis in the field of depression on the basis of limited research on sports intervention in the field of depression, and deeply studied the positive effects of sports exercise on self-efficacy through a well-designed table tennis curriculum program. The experiment utilized the self-rating depression scale (SDS) to assess study objects with depressive tendencies. The results indicate that table tennis had a significant intervention effect on depressive symptoms, with the data of the experimental group significantly better than that of the control group, there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in somatization, depression, anxiety and fear factors (P<0.05), and that there was no statistical significance between the experimental group and the control groups in terms of compulsion and mental factors. Table tennis is a sport suitable for depressive tendency intervention, and it can achieve the effect of alleviate symptoms. This study aims to provide a certain reference for improving depressive symptoms.
