This paper aims to design a hybrid teaching model of public physical education courses in colleges and universities based on the OBE concept to solve problems existing in the current teaching of college physical education. By analyzing the current situation and problems of college physical education teaching, this paper constructs a physical education teaching model that integrates online and offline teaching resources and methods, and explores the practical application of the OBE concept in physical education courses, the specific implementation methods of the hybrid teaching model, strategies to meet student needs, and methods for evaluating and optimizing teaching effects, which provides new theoretical and practical references for the innovation of the public physical education teaching model in colleges and universities.
