With the advancement of science and technology, sports system simulation technology plays an increasingly important role in volleyball teaching in higher vocational colleges. The purpose of this study is to explore the application of sports system simulation technology in the multimedia courseware of volleyball in higher vocational colleges, and dig deeply into its influence on students' learning effects through empirical research. The results show that the multimedia courseware of volleyball in higher vocational colleges that uses sports system simulation technology can significantly improve students' academic performance and interest in learning, and reduce the difficulty of learning, which provides a new idea and method for the reform of volleyball teaching in higher vocational colleges.
