With the vigorous development of modern education technology in China, promoting educational innovation has become an important research topic in education reform. This paper first adopts the interview method and the field survey method to investigate the current situation of teaching, and finds out the shortcomings of the current teaching model. Secondly, in view of the problems existing in the current teaching model, it proposes ideas for solving teaching problems. Finally, it proposes the idea for constructing the O2O hybrid teaching model of general football courses in sports colleges and universities, which lays the foundation for the innovative teaching mode of general football courses.
