The innovation and development of traditional national sports in the new era is not only the need of the inheritance and development of China's national culture, but also an indispensable part of fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation. Red boxing in Shaanxi, as a Wushu school with profound historical heritage and cultural connotation, is an important part of traditional national sports in Shaanxi and also an important part of Chinese culture. Based on the summary of the own cultural advantages of red boxing in Shaanxi, this paper analyzes the challenges and opportunities it faces in the current development process, and then explores how to open up a new path for its inheritance and development under the background of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.
