Practical Study of Applying the Task-Driven Teaching Method to Optional Basketball Courses in Colleges and Universities—A Case Study of Xinjiang Agricultural University
Through the questionnaire survey method and the comparative experiment method, this paper aims to verify the effect of applying the task-driven teaching method to elective basketball courses in colleges and universities.Through a comparative analysis of the control group and the experimental group in terms of special scores, physical fitness scores and subjective attitude evaluation,it was concluded that the application of the task-based teaching method to elective basketball courses in colleges and universities helped improve students'basketball skills(P<0.01 for male students,P<0.05 for female students,P<0.01 overall),enhanced their self-confidence and increased their learning enthusiasm(P<0.01 for male students,P<0.01 for female students,P<0.01 overall),but it had no significant effect on improving the physical fitness of students(P>0.05 for male students,P>0.05 for female students,P>0.05 overall).Based on the correlation analysis of the data of these three aspects,it was concluded that special scores were significantly correlated with physical fitness scores and subjective attitude evaluation(P<0.01,P<0.01),and that there was no significant correlation(P>0.05)between physical fitness scores and subjective attitude evaluation.According to the analysis of the data,it was concluded that its limitations were mainly manifested in two aspects:teachers'difficulties in the design and management of elective basketball courses and students'certain differences in the sense of learning acquisition. Therefore,it is proposed to face shortcomings and learn from each other'strengths to optimize teaching design, and take advantage of the trend of the times and promote strengths and avoid weaknesses to enhance students'interest in basketball.
