This article explores the current situation of specific football courses in physical education majors in local universities under the background of campus football,such as too single and traditional teaching content,too rigid and mechanical teaching methods and too single and formalized teaching evaluation.In order to address these issues,this article proposes reform measures to promote the improvement of the teaching quality of specific football courses:updating teaching content to expand teaching vision,innovating teaching methods to stimulate teaching vitality,and improving teaching evaluation to improve teaching effectiveness.
