Jin sports culture has its distinctive characteristics of northern ethnic minorities.In the long history of development,Jin sports culture helped the development and growth of the Jurchen regime,achieving the functional value of training the physical fitness of the Jurchen people and enhancing their combat effectiveness.Based on the tracing analysis of Jin sports culture,this article studies its development characteristics from multiple aspects,including the establishment and functions of professional sports military institutions,the main forms of sports culture training,and the management system for Jin sports talent cultivation.Research believes that Jin sports culture had functional values such as survival skills,military practicality,entertainment and fitness,and it also believes that in the process of national unification,Jin sports culture showed a development trend of the exchange and integration of sports culture with a mainstream of riding and archery and Han sports,and the integration of the sports culture of the Jurchen tribe and surrounding ethnic minorities.
