Exploring the Cognitive Characteristics of Teacher-Training Physical Education Majors in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on the Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique——Taking Guangxi College of Sports Education as an Example
Through the interview method of the Zaltman metaphor elicitation technique, this study takes sophomores majoring in teacher-training physical education at Guangxi College of Sports Education as research objects to explore their professional cognitive characteristics. Research has found that students majoring in teacher-training physical education are independent, cautious and responsible in choosing their majors, students lack an overall understanding of the cultivation of professional talents in schools, lack a systematic understanding of future teaching objects, and that students have a higher sense of self-efficacy. Based on this, this study proposes corresponding suggestions that schools need to assist students in clarifying the context of talent cultivation, enhance their identification with professional emotions and value and enhance their sense of social responsibility and mission. Studying the professional cognition characteristics of students majoring in teacher-training physical education in higher vocational colleges is not only beneficial to improving their understanding of the major, but also enhancing their understanding of the corresponding career.
