Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore how to effectively improve the quality of sports training in primary schools under the guidance of the concept of happy physical education. Method: Through an in-depth analysis of the value of current sports training in primary schools, its main problems are identified, and the specific path of improving its quality is further discussed. These measures include stimulating students' interest in sports, increasing the diversity of training methods, continuing to incorporate rich sports culture elements, taking effective measures to prevent sports injuries, and increasing student participation through a variety of club activities. The results show that the implementation of these strategies can effectively improve the quality of sports training in primary schools, making it more consistent with the requirements of the concept of happy physical education, which not only can improve students' physical fitness and motor skills, but also promote their mental health, enhance their interest and participation in physical activities, and will lay a solid foundation for their healthy growth and all-round development in the long run.
