Integration of Physical Education and Aesthetic Education in Chinese Colleges and Universities in the New Era:Necessity, Feasibility, Challenges and Paths
This paper reviewes relevant literature on the integration of physical education and aesthetic education in China, discusses the necessity, feasibility and challenges of their integration in colleges and universities, and explores ways to optimize their integration in colleges and universities in China. The study has found that the integration of physical education and aesthetic education in China in the new era is a need to implement the Party's and national educational policies, an inevitable requirement to practice the educational concept of "five-education" integration, and a practical need for the reform of physical education courses in colleges and universities. At present, the integration of physical education and aesthetic education in colleges and universities lacks the correct concepts of physical education and aesthetic education, the construction of physical education and aesthetic education courses is weak, and physical education teachers lack the ability to integrate physical education and aesthetic education. It is suggested to strengthen the educational concept of "five-education" integration, improve the curriculum system of physical education and aesthetic education, and enhance the integrated educational ability of teachers.
