Research on the Physical Training Strategies of Badminton for Middle-Aged and Elderly People
Under the background of national fitness, badminton events are increasing, attracting the active participation of the broad masses of middle-aged and elderly people. However, with the increase of age, the physical function of middle-aged and elderly people declines, leading to the increase of badminton injury risks, the decline of sports ability and the shortening of sports life. Based on this, this paper analyzes the physiological characteristics of middle-aged and elderly people, and proposes the physical training strategies of badminton suitable for middle-aged and elderly people in combination with the characteristics of badminton events. Changes in the exercise system, cardiovascular system and cardiopulmonary system of middle-aged and elderly people will lead to the reduction of their badminton ability, and they are prone to the various acute and chronic injuries and sports-related diseases of badminton, so the design of strategies should conform to the physiological characteristics of middle-aged and elderly people, be close to the reality of life, meet different training purposes, and require them to follow the training principles that vary from person to person and train step by step. In summary, the paper puts forward the physical training strategies of badminton for middle-aged and elderly people: conservation physical training based on injury prevention, comprehensive physical training based on the maintaining competition ability, and special physical training based on improving sports performance. Finally, it puts forward suggestions that the physical training system for the elderly needs to be further improved, and that the good development of physical training for the elderly can be promoted through developing age-appropriate physical training equipment, compiling age-appropriate physical training guidelines, and designing age-appropriate physical training movements.
