By research methods such as literature and interview methods,this paper explores the problems and development strategies of talent cultivation in physical education majors in China.The main problems in reality are the mismatch between the target positioning of professional talent training and the demand for cultivating talents by the integration of sports and education,the inconsistence between the mechanism of professional talent training and the demand for cultivating talents by the integration of sports and education,and the correspondency between the model of professional talent training and the demand for cultivating talents by the integration of sports and education.The development strategies include optimizing talent training objectives to cultivate high-quality physical education professionals,expanding the path of education to achieve the co-construction and sharing of professional education resources inside and outside the school,integrating educational elements to promote the "inegrated" education of the integration of sports and education,and creating a new educational model of integrating sports and education to improve the quality of education.
