Influences of the Focus of Attention on Students' learning of Clean and Jerk Movement in College Physical Education Courses
In the teaching of movement skills in university physical education courses,teachers often uses the instructions of the internal focus of attention to focus on the body position.This study aims to explore the effects of different focuses of attention on the learning of clean and jerk motion.Thirty-six male college students were divided into the external focus of attention group and the internal focus of attention group and taught for 6 weeks.The results showed that the external focus of attention group was better than the internal focus of attention group in terms of the multi-link technical score and video analysis indicator.The external focus of attention group performed better in many ways,which could improve the automation level of the motion,and its various links were explained by the the instructions of the external focus of attention;the internal focus of attention group focuses on the feeling of force in the body.It is suggested that teachers should choose the objects of the external focus of attention according to the actual situation and introduce instructions,so as to promote students'learning.
