This paper analyzes and summarizes the current situation of the integration of physical education and ideological and political education in colleges and universities by the literature review method,and finds that there are problems such as independence and unclear educational goals in them,which hinder the improvement of students'comprehensive literacy.On this basis,from the diversity and integration of educational objectives,the uneven allocation of resources and other aspects,it summaries and reveals the current existing difficulties of the integrated development of college physical education and ideological and political education,and puts forward the optimized path of their integrated development from the aspects of the integration of educational objectives,the balanced allocation of resources,the innovation of educational management mechanisms and other aspects,so as to provide reference and models for facilitating the in-depth integration of physical education and ideological and political education and promoting the in-depth development of college physical education reform.
