Research on the Application of Functional Movement Screen in Rugby Players in the Sunshine Group in Colleges and Universities
Objective:To explore the relationship between the quantitative scores of the FMS test and sports injuries in combination with the FMS test, and also explore the discriminant and predictive validity of FMS on sports injuries.Method:The literature method, testing method, tracking survey method, mathematical statistics method and logical analysis method were used to conduct the FMS test on 35 rugby players in the sunshine group in colleges and universities, and correlation analysis was made based on the quantitative scores of the FMS test.Result:(1) The ratio of injuries of rugby players in the sunshine group in colleges and universities was 62%,mainly the injuries of the lower limbs, concussion and shoulders;(2) There was a significant difference (P=0.000) in the quantitative scores of the FMS test of plays in the non-injury group and the injury group;(3) A score of 14.5 could be used as a threshold to determine the risk of injuries for rugby players in the sunshine group in colleges and universities, and players with a quantitative score of 14.5 or less in the FMS test were 24 times more likely to be at risk of of injuries than those with the score of 14.5 or greater;(4) Through the test of the Logistic regression model,it was found that there were differences in shoulder flexibility (P=0.037),active straight leg lifting (P=0.048) and trunk stability push-up (P=0.010),which had a significant negative impact on the sports injuries of rugby players in the sunshine group in colleges and universities. Conclusion:There is a correlation between the quantitative scores of the FMS test and sports injuries, and the FMS test has good discriminant and predictive validity.
