Study on the Impact of Career Transition of Retired Basketball Players in China
Through literature review,logic analysis and other research methods,this paper probes into the dilemma and feasible path of retired basketball players in their career transition in China. The results show that under the background of the integration of sports and education,there are a series of problems in the career transformation of retired basketball players in China,such as the influence of "gold medal first" thinking,lack of professional cultural knowledge,low educational level,slow implementation of relevant policies,numerous departments involved and individual athletes' own problems,etc. Accelerating the implementation of the countermeasures of career transformation of retired basketball players in China is the necessary way to implement the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and build a sports power and cultural power. This study points out that improving the comprehensive quality and training of retired basketball players,carrying out targeted vocational training programs and perfecting the social security system of retired basketball players are of great significance to promote their career transformation.
