In the current context of social governance innovation,urban community sports,as an important means to improve the quality of life and social cohesion of residents,has attracted more and more attention.As an important province in central China,the development level of urban community sports in Jiangxi Province reflects the effectiveness of regional social governance to a certain extent.By analyzing the problems and countermeasures of urban community sports development in Jiangxi Province,this article explores its role and significance in innovative social governance.Research has found that although there has been significant improvement in urban community sports facilities and activities in Jiangxi Province,there are still problems of uneven resource allocation and low participation.By improving sports organization construction,strengthening community sports infrastructure construction,and enriching the content and forms of community sports activities,the participation of community residents in sports can be effectively enhanced,and social harmony can be promoted.
