Research of the Effects of 6-Week Strength Training Combined with HIIT on Body Shape and Muscular Strength of Dance Major College Students
Objective:The research divides 32 Dance major freshmen into 2 groups:experimental group(n=17)and control group(n=15).A 6-week strength training combined with HIIT intervention is conducted to investigate the effects of the training on body shape and muscle strength.Methods:The research adopts methods such as Literature Review,Experiment,and Mathematical Statistics to analyze intra-and inter group data of 9 indicators before and after intervention.Results:Compared with before and after the experiment,bust/waist/hip measurements,abdominal muscle endurance,back muscles endurance,and sit-and-reach of the experimental group improve significantly after the 6-week exercise intervention(P<0.05),and the score of abdominal muscle endurance of the experimental group is much higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Combining strength training with HIIT can improve body shape and enhance muscular strength of Dance major students.The auxiliary training of Dance major can refer to the principles of HIIT and the training movements in strength training to enhance the specialized physical fitness of Dance major students in terms of strength and physical fitness,and improve their technical level.
