Application of Functional Strength Training in College Basketball Training
Basketball has the characteristics of fast and varied attack methods,intense physical confrontation,rapid offensive and defensive transitions,and technical and tactical confrontations,which requires high strength from athletes.Therefore,strength training is an important component of college basketball training.Functional strength training is a common type of strength training that focuses on training athletes in a certain strength,emphasizing the implementation of core training for athletes.Improving core strength can enhance athletes'physical stability and support.Based on this,this article combines the practice of college basketball training to analyze the significance of functional strength training,common training paths,and training precautions,in order to optimize training effectiveness.
