Exploring the Role Mechanism and Path of Sports Events Empowering Urban Economic Development—Taking Hangzhou Asian Games as an Example
Taking the Hangzhou Asian Games as an example,this paper uses methods such as Literature Review and Logical Analysis to explore the role mechanism and path of sports events empowering urban economic development,in order to provide theoretical support for other cities to actively host sports events and promote urban economic development.It is found that sports events affect urban economic development through multiplier,agglomeration and technological progress effect.Taking the Hangzhou Asian Games as an example,it empowers the city's economic development from multiple dimensions,promotes infrastructure construction and urban image enhancement,and improves the comprehensive strength and competitiveness of cities.It is proposed that other cities can learn from the experience of Hangzhou Asian Games to improve the effect of sports events on urban economy by hosting sports events and strengthening international exchanges and cooperation.
