Research on the Correlation Between Psychological Resilience and Sleep Quality of College Athletes
The objective is to study the correlation between psychological resilience and sleep quality of college athletes,and provide theoretical support for athlete psychological selection,coach guidance training,and athlete psychological regulation in competition.This article distributed Teenage Psychological Resilience Scale and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index to 210 college athletes majoring in Sports Training at Jianghan University.210 questionnaires were collected,with 205 valid questionnaires and an effective questionnaire rate of 97.62%.Research results:In terms of psychological resilience,male students scored significantly higher than female students,and second-grade athletes and athletes with 5-10 years of sports experience score higher in psychological resilience;In terms of sleep quality,female students scored higher than male students in terms of sleep quality,and athletes with over 10 years of physical activity scored higher;Psychological resilience is positively correlated with sleep quality.Research conclusions:Different genders,grades,levels of exercise,and years of exercise have an impact on psychological resilience and sleep quality,and are important reference indicators for psychological resilience in athlete selection;Attention should be paid to psychological counseling for athletes during training.
