This article explores the application of functional physical training in the sports training of police academy students. Through the research process,the impact of functional physical training on the physical fitness of police academy students is explained from the aspects of physical fitness,practical ability,and psychological quality. Starting from multiple aspects such as curriculum design,coach training,facility construction,publicity and promotion,and evaluation feedback,this article proposes ways and development strategies for promoting functional physical fitness training in police academy student sports training. It aims to promote the effective development of physical fitness among police academy students and lay a solid foundation for their future career development;The purpose of this research is to provide reference and inspiration for the innovation of physical training courses and methods for police academy students.
