Exploration on the Division of Development Stages and Key Issues of Public Sports Services in China
In response to the issues that there is a lack of evidence on whether China's public sports services are coordinated with economic development, and many aspects need to be improved with unclear key issues, this paper adopts Rostow's Theory of the Stage of Economic Growth as an analytical tool to conduct a thorough exploration of the stages of China's economic society and public sports services, and answers the above two questions. The research finds that the development of China's economic society and public sports services is generally consistent with Rostow's Theory of the Stage of Economic Growth and its corresponding characteristics of public services. Specifically,China's economy has entered the maturity stage, while public sports services are still in the take-off stage, indicating a significant lack of coordination between the two. Furthermore, according to Rostow's theory, the current key issues faced by public sports services in the take-off stage are supply imbalance, market failure, social failure, and information asymmetry. The resolution of these issues is crucial for promoting the further development of public sports services.
