With the development of society and the deepening of educational reform,the importance of ideological and political education in higher vocational education is increasingly prominent. Students in vocational colleges not only need to master professional skills,but also possess good ideological and moral qualities. This article explores the necessity and methods of integrating ideological and political education elements into public physical education Basketball courses in vocational colleges. By analyzing the current situation of ideological and political education in Basketball courses,a series of specific integration strategies have been proposed to enhance students' comprehensive quality and ideological and moral level.
