From the perspective of Lide Shuren,ideological and political education in college physical education course is an educational concept in the new era of China. It emphasizes the integration of ideological and political teaching elements in the process of physical education,shaping positive outlook on life and values of college students,and cultivating their excellent qualities of physical and mental health,good character,and love for the Party and the people. This paper analyzes the importance and related elements of ideological and political education in physical education courses from the aspects of the value and methods of ideological and political education in college physical education courses,explores the path and method of ideological and political education in college physical education courses,and hoping to provide reference for better implementation of ideological and political education in college physical education courses.
