Research on the Impact of Online and Offline Teaching Models on Basketball Teaching
This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the new teaching model implemented in Basketball course in Hebei Institute of Communications, which combines online and offline teaching methods. In the early stage of the research,a comprehensive review of relevant research on online and offline teaching was conducted, and an in-depth analysis of the model of Hebei Institute of Communication was conducted from three dimensions:online teaching, offline teaching, and teaching evaluation.Subsequently, two classes of sophomore Basketball Public Physical Education students were selected and divided into an experimental group and a control group, using online and offline teaching modes as well as traditional teaching modes, respectively. After the intervention, collect data on teaching effectiveness, satisfaction, and participation from two groups of students. The results showed that the experimental group using blended learning mode significantly outperformed the control group in basketball skills and knowledge tests on average. The satisfaction of the experimental group students with teaching content and methods, the learning atmosphere,as well as their classroom participation and discussion activity, were significantly better than those of the control group.Teachers also have more positive evaluations of the experimental group students, believing that they have performed well in terms of learning attitude, progress, and classroom performance. These findings collectively indicate that the combination of online and offline teaching models has a significant effect on improving students'basketball skills, knowledge levels, satisfaction, participation, and learning attitudes, providing a new and effective way for basketball teaching.
