Research on the Open Issues of Converting Old Factory Buildings into College Gym—Taking the Gym of Wuhan Institute of Shipbuilding Technology as an Example
In order to implement the guiding principle of the'20th CPC National Congress regarding accelerating the construction of a sports power,improving the utilization rate of college gyms,and promoting the comprehensive development of mass sports,this paper investigates the opening status of gyms in some colleges in Hubei Province through Field Research,Expert Interviews,and Survey Questionnaires.Based on the current opening status of the gyms that was renovated from the old factory building of Wuhan Institute of Shipbuilding Technology,it proposes targeted optimization paths for the management of the school's gym:Establish an appointment system;Strengthen the construction of a professional management team for the gym;Improve the diversified functional construction of the school gym;Strengthen the maintenance and management of the gymnasium's hardware facilities;Enhance the cultural development of school gym.
