By using research methods such as Literature Review,this paper first analyzes the practical difficulties of the development of traditional ethnic sports events under the background of the"Belt and Road",and then puts forward the optimization path of the development of traditional ethnic sports events under the background of the"Belt and Road".According to the research,the practical difficulties faced by the development of traditional ethnic sports events under the background of the"Belt and Road"mainly include low international recognition,insufficient financial and resource support,lack of professional talents,and the improvement of the organization and management level of the events.In order to realize the sustainable development of traditional ethnic sports events,it is suggested to strengthen the publicity and promotion of the sports events,win the support of the government and society,train professional talents,and standardize the organization and management of the sports events.
