This paper focuses on how to integrate excellent traditional Chinese sports culture into college Physical Education teaching system under the background of modernization in the new era.The aim is to explore the history,current situation and trend of the development of Chinese traditional ethnic sports teaching in colleges and universities,clarify the core ideological concept of excellent traditional Chinese sports culture,so as to propose to strengthen cognitive identity and root in cultural foundations;Optimize course teaching,innovate inheritance mode;Integrate modern science and technology to broaden communication channels;Strengthen practical experience to promote cultural consciousness and other specific strategies for the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese sports culture in college physical education.
