Red sports culture is an important resource for ideological and political education in physical education courses in universities,and is a highly condensed embodiment of the Chinese revolutionary spirit,which has important educational value.The coupling of digital technology and red sports resources makes red sports resources"live"like a fish in water,and provides live materials with flesh and blood for empowering ideological and political education in physical education courses in universities.This article starts from theory to sort out the value of digitalization of red sports culture in empowering ideological and political education in college physical education courses,points out its practical difficulties,and explores the implementation path with its own characteristics.
