Intervention Study on Yoga Elective Courses on Sleep Quality of College Students—A Case Study of Students from Hubei Engineering University
This study aims to explore the intervention effect of Yoga elective courses on the sleep quality of college students.By using PSQI scale evaluation,it employs methods of Questionnaire Survey and Experimental Comparison to compare the sleep quality of students who participated in Yoga classes and those who did not.The results showed that Yoga classes have significantly improved the overall sleep quality of students, including accelerating the speed of falling asleep, prolonging sleep time, improving sleep efficiency, reducing sleep disorders, and lowering daytime dysfunction. This indicates that Yoga effectively promotes physical and mental relaxation and blood circulation through a combination of meditation, breathing, and posture exercises, thereby improving sleep quality. The study provides theoretical basis for the promotion of Yoga in colleges and universities and proves that Yoga elective courses are an effective intervention to improve the sleep quality of college students.
