Research on the Implementation of Flexibility Training and Physical Fitness Improvement in Physical Education
Flexibility training is an important part of physical education(PE)and has significant meaning in improving students'overall physical fitness.This research explores the implementation process of flexibility training in PE and its effect on physical fitness improvement.The research found that scientific and reasonable flexibility training can effectively improve the range of joint movement,enhance elasticity,prevent sports injuries,and promote sports performance.PE teachers should adopt diversified training methods such as static stretching,dynamic stretching,and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation therapy(PNF)based on students'age characteristics and physical fitness levels,and pay attention to the systematicness and individualization of training.Meanwhile,combining flexibility training with other physical fitness can comprehensively improve students'physical fitness.The research results provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for conducting flexibility training in PE.
