By using research methods of literature review, video analysis, expert interviews, and mathematical statistics, this paper compares the difficulty movement arrangement and selection of the top three men's singles events of the 17th FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships. It aims to grasp the development law of difficult movements selection under the guidance of new rules, grasp the trend of difficulty selection of men's singles events, and provide theoretical reference for the arrangement of complete sets of difficulty movements. The results show:When arranging, the contestants prioritized the maximum difficulty score that they can complete; When the difficulty score is not much different, execution and artistry score are the key to winning; It is recommended to choose difficult movements with scores ranging from 0.9 to 1.0,as well as difficult movements with scores ranging from 0.6 to 0.8,as part of the difficulty skill connection arrangement. In the selection of difficult movements, there is a tendency towards A and B groups, especially recommending high scoring difficult movements in A1 and B5 categories. At the beginning of the set of movements, arrange a high difficulty connection of"B+B+A"or a combination of"technique+difficulty"to obtain a higher difficulty score. At the same time, attention should be paid to the spatial changes of complete sets to avoid the phenomenon of top-heavy;Coaches should make reasonable training plans to promote the upgrading of difficult movements and improve the quality of completing movements.
