This article adopts methods such as literature review,expert interviews,and logical analysis to explore the implementation value,challenges,and strategies of physical education large-unit teaching under the background of new curriculum standards.Value:achieving integrated sports skills teaching,promoting students'comprehensive physical education learning,and promoting the development of structured teaching models.Challenges:There is a lack of research designs and teaching cases for reference,the inertia of small-unit teaching thinking hinders the in-depth advancement of large-unit teaching,the goals of large-unit teaching are vague,and the teaching content is monotonous.Strategic suggestion:Actively construct high-quality courses for large-unit teaching,to provide references for teachers'teaching activities;Clarify the large concept and determine the theme of the large unit with the large concept as the guiding center;Clarify the teaching goals of the large-unit,with the goals guiding the content;Enrich the teaching content to achieve structured teaching.
