Enhancing the International Communication Power of Contemporary China History Studies
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of Contemporary China History Studies.As the only academic journal specializing in the contemporary China history in our country,it has adhered to the publishing policy of"studying history and adapting to changes,providing political support and educating people"since its establishment in January 1994.It adheres to the correct political direction,academic orientation,and value orientation,adheres to historical materialism,firmly grasps the main theme and mainstream essence of contemporary China history,and has published a large number of high-quality research results.We have made significant contributions to the construction of the"three major systems"of the discipline,building China's independent knowledge system and promoting the prosperity of philosophy and social sciences.At the same time,we have actively explored and attempted to strengthen international academic exchanges and external academic dissemination,achieving certain results and experiences,and winning recognition and high praise from the academic community.On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of Contemporary China History Studies,to deepen the study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter to the Association of National History of the People's Republic of China on the 30th anniversary of its founding,further unite the researchers of contemporary China history across the country,continuously improve their research level,innovate their propaganda methods,and promote the high-quality development of the journal,our journal invited two researchers,Zhang Xingxing and Liu Guoxin,who have served as the editor in chief of the journal,to discuss the development process and publishing experience of the journal.In the future,our journal will continue to unite with colleagues in the academic community,guided by the latest achievements in the sinicization and modernization of Marxism,bear in mind the responsibility of the national team in the study of contemporary China history,adhere to integrity and innovation,publish more outstanding academic achievements with ideological penetration,which can be called"trustworthy history"and"good history",inspire people to strengthen their historical confidence,enhance their historical initiative,and build a strong foundation for the study and promotion of contemporary China history,continuously improve the construction of the"three major systems"for contemporary China history research,enhancing international communication capabilities,and continuously opening up new horizons for the research.
