A Review of Overseas Research on the Whole-process of People's Democracy
The proposal of the whole-process of people's democracy attracted widespread attention from overseas,and therefore became a new hot topic in Chinese political research overseas.Since 2019,overseas researchers have been continuously delving into the whole-process of people's democracy,elaborating on the generation logic,connotation and value implications of it,sorting out the historical context of the whole-process of people's democracy,outlining the theoretical lineage of the concept,and forming a diversified research paradigm.Although there are still many"gaps"in the research of overseas scholars that need to be filled objectively,they have generally formed a relatively positive understanding and highly evaluated the value and significance of whole-process of people's democracy,which is beneficial for the international community to enhance its understanding of China's democracy.In the new era and on the new journey,we should base ourselves on a broader perspective,strive to explore and develop the whole-process of people's democracy,and contribute Chinese wisdom and solutions to the development of world democratic practice.
