The Establishment and Preliminary Exploration of Medical Science in New China(1949-1966)
The period from 1949to 1966 was the establishment and initial exploration stage of the medical science in new China.In order to develop the medical science in new China,the Party and the state established nationwide medical science leadership and research institutions,providing institutional guarantees and scientific research support for the development of the it in new China.A series of medical science research plans and development plans were formulated,clarifying the key tasks of medical science research in new China.We also carried out international exchanges and cooperation in the field of medical science,promoting the exchange and mutual learning of medical scientific research among countries around the world.From 1949 to 1966,a series of achievements in the medical science industry of new China laid the foundation for the development pattern of the medical science,promoted breakthroughs in drug research and disease prevention,and provided scientific support for controlling and eliminating major diseases.
