Analysis of the Chinese Volunteer Medical Team to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea
After the outbreak of the Korean War,the Party and government made timely deployments based on the actual needs of the Korean front line,calling on medical personnel to form volunteer medical teams to support the front line.After solid organization and mobilization by Party committees and governmments at all levels,the volunteer medical team was successfully established,and its related medical service work gradually began.Each volunteer medical team not only assisted in treating a large number of injured and sick people,providing strong support for the ultimate victory of the Korean War,but also greatly improved the political ideology and medical technology level of the members of the volunteer medical team,laying a talent,technology,and institutional foundation for the great development of the medical and health industry in new China,and accumulating important strength for the construction of new China.
