An analysis of kidney deficiency syndrome by combining disease and syndrome:A modern literature review based on data mining
Objective:To investigate the modern diseases,testing indicators,symptoms,and signs of kidney deficiency syndrome based on modem literature,as well as the distribution of prescriptions and medications.Methods:CNKI,Wanfang Data,and VIP were searched for clinical studies on kidney deficiency syndrome published up to Janu-ary 31,2023,and Microsoft Excel 2010 was used to establish a database and perform a statistical analysis of related data.Results:A total of 276 articles were included,involving 76 modern diseases,105 testing indicators,89 symptoms and signs,282 prescriptions,and 252 traditional Chinese medicine drugs.The modem diseases associated with kidney deficiency syndrome included reproductive system diseases,endocrine system diseases,and nervous system diseases,and related blood indicators included reproductive function,immune function,bone metabolism,and inflammatory re-sponse.Among the syndrome types of kidney deficiency,kidney Yang deficiency accounted for the highest proportion,followed by kidney Qi deficiency,deficiency of kidney-essence,and kidney Yin deficiency.The drugs with a sweet taste and a warm nature were mainly used for treatment,and they mainly entered the kidney,liver,and spleen meridi-ans.Conclusion:This study preliminarily explores the distribution of diseases,manifestations,symptoms,and drugs as-sociated with kidney deficiency syndrome in the modern literature,which provides a reference for integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine therapy and the research on modem diseases associated with kidney deficiency syndrome.
