Medication rule of Yang Jianbing in treatment of premature ovarian insufficiency:A study based on data mining
Objective:To investigate the medication rule of Professor Yang Jianbing in the traditional Chi-nese medicine(TCM)treatment of premature ovarian insufficiency(POI)based on data mining.Methods:Outpa-tient prescriptions were collected from the cases treated by Professor Yang and were then entered into Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5)software,and the data mining methods in this software, such as Apriori association rule analysis and entropy-based hierarchical clustering, were used to analyze the TCM pre-scriptions used by Professor Yang in the treatment of POI.Results:A total of 92 prescriptions were obtained,invol-ving 126 TCM drugs, among which 25 TCM drugs had a frequency of ≥30.Most drugs were warm or neutral in na-ture and had a sweet, bitter or pungent taste, and they mainly entered the kidney, liver, and spleen meridians.Defi-ciency-tonifying drugs,blood-activating and stasis-resolving drugs, and Qi-regulating drugs showed the highest fre-quency of use.The association rule analysis obtained 16 commonly used drug combinations, and the cluster analysis obtained 5 core prescriptions. Conclusion:The TCM drugs used by Professor Yang in the treatment of POI mainly have the functions of nourishing kidney-essence,nourishing the blood, and activating the blood, often in combina-tion with the drugs for strengthening the spleen, regulating Qi,soothing the liver, and resolving stagnation, which re-flects the academic thinking of syndrome differentiation-based treatment of POI from the perspective of kidney defi-ciency and blood stasis.
