Analysis of death status and change trend of residents in Tianshui city from 2015 to 2022
Objective To understand the death characteristics in the residents of Tianshui city from 2015 to 2022,analyze the main causes of death and the order of causes,and provide scientific basis for formulating relevant prevention and control strategies.Methods The monitoring data of death causes in Tianshui city from 2015 to 2022 were collected from the population death information registration management system,and the SPSS 22.0 software was used to analyzed the standardized mortality rates and the order of death causes with chi-square test.Results The standardized mortality rates of the males and the females was 420.40/100 000 and 307.35/100 000 respectively,and the mortality rate of the male was higher than that of the female x2=17.638,P＜0.05)in Tianshui city from 2015 to 2022.The top five causes of death were circulatory system diseases,tumors,respiratory system diseases,injuries and poisoning,and digestive system diseases as the order,with the standardized mortality rates of 210.60/100 000,54.74/100 000,34.10/100 000,22.10/100 000 and 9.45/100 000,and the proportion of the death causes of 57.82％,14.95％,9.36％,6.07％and 2.59％,respectively.The standardized mortality rates of circulatory system diseases(trend x2=4 100.385),tumor(trend x2=171.160)and respiratory system disease(trend x2=208.475)showed increasing trend(all P＜0.05)as the year in the diseases of top three death causes.Conclusions The circulatory system diseases,tumors and respiratory system diseases are the main causes affecting the health of residents.Which should be paid attention and taken effective prevention and control measures by the relevant departments to reduce the occurrence and death of diseases.
