Analysis of detection results of serum antibody from suspected brucellosis patients in Queshan county,Henan province
Objective To investigate the epidemic characteristics of brucellosis in Queshan county,Henan province from 2019 to 2022,and provide scientific basis for formulating the strategies and measures of brucellosis prevention and control.Methods The serum antibody of suspected brucellosis patients in the outpatient department of the center for disease control and prevention(CDC)of Queshan county were detected by the rose bengal plate test(RBPT)and standard tube agglutination test(SAT),according to WS 269-2019 Brucellosis Diagnosis.The titer of 1∶100++and above was positive.The data was input in EXCEL 2013 for analysis with SPSS 17.0.The difference of rates was compared with Chi-square test,and the difference was statistical if P<0.05.Results From 2019 to 2022,a total of 3 608 patients were examined,and 443 cases were positive,with the positive rate of 12.28%.The positive rate was the highest in 2022(14.14%)and the lowest in 2019(10.53%).There was no statistical difference in the positive rates of different years(x2=7.199,P>0.05).The positive titer of 1∶400++~was mainly(66.37%).The ratio of the male to the female was 2.49∶1.The positive rate was 12.04%in the male,and 12.92%in the female,without statistical difference(x2=0.516,P>0.05).The number of positive patients aged from 30 to 60 years accounted for 87.36%of the total positive patients.The positive rate was the highest in the age group of 30-years(15.09%),and the difference was statistically significant in the positive rates of different age groups(x2=20.061,P<0.05).Most cases were farmers,and accounted for 97.97%of all cases.Conclusions The epidemic situation of brucellosis is serious in Queshan county.The male young farmers working for livestock husbandry are population with high-risk.It is necessary to strengthen the source prevention and control,develop scientific and standardized breeding methods,and do well in health education and regular monitoring in the population with high-risk for reducing the harm of brucellosis and controlling the epidemic.
